Your task feed. AI tells you what happened, what needs attention, and lets you respond without leaving the page. ## What it can do - **Stay in the loop** — Completions, failures, questions from AI — they all land here. No more checking tasks one by one - **Reply in place** — AI asks "option A or B?" — answer right in the notification. The task picks back up - **Cut through the noise** — Filter by type, star what matters, pin what's urgent ## When you get notified Inbox fires a notification whenever a task's status changes: | Type | Trigger | What it means | |------|---------|---------------| | Needs your input | AI hit a decision point | Reply before the task can continue | | Completed | Task finished | Check the results | | Failed | Something went wrong | Look at the details and decide what to do | ## Reply to AI — without hunting for the chat This is where Inbox really shines. When AI needs a call from you — pick a writing style, confirm a data range, choose between approaches — the task pauses and Inbox pops up a notification. Open it, see the full context, reply right there. Task resumes. > 💡 Sometimes AI lays out a few options. Just tell it which way to go. ## Stay organized The sidebar lets you slice and dice your notifications: - **All** — Everything - **Unread** — Haven't looked at yet - **Needs input** — AI is waiting on you — handle these first - **Completed** — Done deals - **Starred** — Stuff you flagged as important - **Pinned** — Stuck to the top Notifications group by task, so if one task fires multiple updates, they stay together. Keeps things clean. ## How it fits with Kanban Board Inbox isn't a standalone thing — it's the other half of Kanban Board: 1. You drop a task on the board. AI starts working 2. AI has a question — Inbox lets you know 3. You reply in Inbox. Task picks back up 4. Task finishes — Inbox shows you the result You don't need to watch the board. Go do your thing. Inbox has your back. ## What's next [Kanban Board — Set up boards and manage tasks →](/docs/en-us/getting-started/what-is-kanban) [Mission Control — Wire up expert teams for automation →](/docs/en-us/mission-control/what-is-mission-control)
