Connect your robot to WeChat so users can chat with it directly in the app — no extra software required on their end. WeChat integration works through the **ClawBot plugin**, an official Tencent channel plugin built into WeChat's plugin system. Once connected, the robot appears as a regular WeChat contact, and any user who adds it as a friend can start chatting immediately. ## Before You Start - Your robot must already be created in Mission Control. - Prepare a dedicated WeChat account for the robot (a personal account is fine — no official account or mini-program needed). - Keep WeChat updated to the latest version on your phone (iOS and Android are both supported). - The Yao Agents server must stay online both during the scan and while the robot is running. ## Step 1 — Open the Integration Panel 1. In Mission Control, click the robot you want to connect. 2. Go to the **Config → Integration** tab. 3. Find the **WeChat** card and enable the toggle.  ## Step 2 — Scan to Connect Click **Scan to Connect** to open the QR code dialog in Mission Control. On the phone with the robot's WeChat account, open the ClawBot plugin: **Me → Settings → Plugins → WeChat ClawBot → Details** Inside the ClawBot plugin detail page, tap **Start Scan** and scan the QR code displayed in Mission Control. > 💡 The QR code expires in 3 minutes. Close the dialog and reopen it to refresh. **On first connection**, WeChat will ask you to authorize the ClawBot plugin for this account. Confirm the authorization to complete the connection. After a successful scan, the dialog closes automatically and the card shows **Connected** with the WeChat account name. ## Step 3 — Save Click **Save** (the save button at the top of the config panel). The robot is now live on WeChat. Send a message to the WeChat account from any phone and the robot will reply. ## Reconnecting If the connection drops (e.g. after a server restart), open the Integration panel and click **Reconnect** on the WeChat card to scan again. ## Troubleshooting **"ClawBot plugin not installed" or "Feature not supported."** Your WeChat version is outdated. Update WeChat to the latest version and try again. **The "Connected" status never appears after scanning.** Make sure you are using WeChat iOS 8.0.70+ and have authorized the ClawBot plugin. Also confirm the account is not simultaneously logged in on another device. **The robot stops responding after a while.** The session may have timed out. Reconnect by scanning the QR code again.
